Jade DeLaronde

Jade DeLaronde is a distinguished dancer, choreographer, educator, and international adjudicator from Toronto, Ontario. With extensive experience performing and teaching across North America, Europe, and Africa, Jade graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, specializing in Choreography and Performance, and a Bachelor of Education focusing on Dance Pedagogy and Social Sciences.

As the founder of SOL Dance Collective, Jade is dedicated to fostering a positive and enriching community for dancers to train and grow. SOL has toured across Canada with over 12 events, aiming to inspire emerging dancers to reach their full potential. Over the past decade, Jade has earned numerous credentials, including an International Judging License with IDO, Progressive Ballet Technique Certification, Level 2 Certification with Gymnastics Ontario, and membership with the Professional Adjudicator’s Alliance.

Jade has studied with renowned Tap artists like Barbara Duffy and Heather Cornell and performed choreographic work by Ayodele Casel and Mike Minery at the American Tap Festival in Los Angeles. She has twice been awarded “World Champion” in the Adult Tap Solo category and has danced in South Africa, Poland, Germany, New York, and Niagara Falls, winning three world titles at the IDO World Championships with the Canadian National Dance Team.
